TAITRONICS, Taipei International Electronics Show, and AIoT Taiwan, Taiwan International AIoT Show, are on schedule to open in Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1, (TaiNEX 1) from October 21 to 23. For the first time, TAITRA, one of the show organizers, combines online exhibition with a physical showground exhibition. With this online to offline, O2O innovative model, these shows will cover exhibitions, procurement matchmaking meetings, forums, new product presentations, and live broadcasts. By combining online and offline services, international visitors and media can experience new exhibitions in the method of their choice during the pandemic.
During this challenging time, when professional exhibitions in various countries are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, either canceled or postponed, Taiwan’s only professional electronic show, TAITRONICS, will continue to showcase with AIoT Taiwan, TPCA Show, OPTO & OPTICS TAIWAN, and Laser & Photonics Taiwan. They are integrated for a bigger Taiwan Electronics Manufacturing Show, presenting a complete electronics manufacturing ecosystem.
Richard, Tsu-Chin Lee, Chairman of TEEMA, Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association, and co-organizer of TAITRONICS and AIoT Taiwan emphasized that these two exhibitions have always been important platforms for the electronics industry. This year, they will echo the industrial concept of "technology and humanity". The exhibitions will include themes such as sustainability, information security, digital innovation, and digital transformation. Forums will also be held to convey the importance of the industry’s social responsibility and promote corporate inheritance and innovation to achieve industrial sustainability. On the other hand, by showing successful digital transformation cases, hopefully, it will help SMEs map out international market promotions.
Walter Yeh, President & CEO of TAITRA, indicated that TAITRA would use its practical experience, global offices, and invite international media and important industry partners to create a new exhibition model to ensure business opportunities for industry players during this pandemic. TAITRONICS and AIoT Taiwan will launch "online exhibitions" using digital technology to break through the limitations of physical exhibitions. Through online and offline (O2O) procurement conferences, virtual meeting rooms, exhibitors can be matched with and international buyers through video conferences for 1-on-1 procurement meetings. During the exhibition, the showground will be available live for visitors from around the world. Exhibition tours and exhibitor interviews will be conducted so that buyers can still receive first-hand information from the exhibition floor with zero contact and zero time difference.
According to the data released by the Department of Statistics of Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs on July 15, electronic components such as integrated circuits and memories increased by 25.9% annually in the first half of this year, showing that Taiwan’s electronic components exports were not affected by the pandemic. How to respond to changes in the global supply chain during the second half of the year while combining geographic advantages and manufacturing development will be presented at the Taiwan Electronic Manufacturing Show from October 21- 23 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1 (TaiNEX 1).
